Summer is here!
Well, for us it is.
My kids have always been on a year-round school schedule.
This was our first year on a traditional schedule.
That means we FINALLY get a full on summer vacation!
We WILL be spending it at the water park.
It's going to be a fabulous summer.
The summer will also include marathon training for me.
Less than 50 days to go until the Deseret News Marathon!
I am continuing to work on my running form,
with the help of Karhu's Forward Running videos.
This week I have been working on proper
It is still definitely a work in progress for me.
I am too stiff in my back and I move my hips up and down.
Also, I should select more appropriate running outfits before filming.
I am finding it very interesting to check out my running form.
Trying to correct the problems is not so easy, though.
As I said- work in progress!
Still, I am loving my Karhu Flow Fulcrum Rides!
They really make me feel fast and I definitely
feel myself running more on my mid to forefoot.

I LOVE Summer vacation!!!! I love being a teacher but boy is that summer break sweet!!!

ReplyDeleteNot that I'm a serious runner but thanks for posting these videos! I find them interesting. In this one if I feel my abs are tighter the next day or even slightly sore if it's a longer run (for me), is that a good thing? I've never understood the concept of lengthening the core even when I do "core exercises"...
