I was starting to feel pretty good about my marathon.
Then this past week happened.
Not much running has been going down.
With little B-girl's surgery and the stomach bug
that swept it's way through everyone in our house...
(except the husband- his immune system is really on top of stuff)
I have not been making time for running.
Plus, it's been SO very hot.
I finally felt better today and got my butt out of bed.
7 sweaty miles.
It was 78 degrees at 5:20am.
(I know, not really that bad- very bad for me!)

I like to watch the video a few times the night before...
then really try to focus on that specific area on my morning run.
Today was all about Knee and Quad positioning.
(One of my favorite parts of these videos is watching the guy try to run the wrong way.
It makes me wonder if he has to practice the incorrect running form before filming.)
In my own brain, I think I am doing okay on this one.
My knees and quads seem to be even, steady and not coming up too high.
I tried to engage my quads and core-
my torso doesn't seem to be moving around excessively.
But...
You be the judge!

Excuse the excessive amounts of sweat.
This was AFTER the 7 miles.
Not too bad, right?
I AM going to become an efficient run- yes I am!

Looks good to me! I think you'll be okay... aren't you into your taper? Just try to enjoy the race... easier said than done for a marathon, huh?!
