My First Giveaway - the Hoo-Rag!

Yay!  My first giveaway!
Does this mean I'm cool now?

A few months back, I was contacted by Hoo-Rag.
They asked if I would be willing to test our their
product and then share my opinion on it.

I thought they looked interesting, so why not?
It is a seamless bandana that can be worn in a bunch of different ways.
They have a video showing all the ways to use it
These two are the ones I use the most:

Well, I love it.
I originally thought I would use it mostly for running outside in the cold.
It does work great for that- I put it around my neck and pull
it up over my mouth and nose when my face gets cold.
Like this:
I just pull it up and down as needed.
BUT- I use it the most running on the treadmill inside.
I get super crazy sweaty when I run inside and I always forget a towel.
Resulting in sweat dripping into my eyeballs.

Now I just put the Hoo-Rag on like a headband/bandana...
and it absorbs all the sweat.
Plus, I look totally awesome.
(Maybe not so much- and I haven't perfected the self-portrait in the mirror yet)
Seriously, it works amazingly well.
It stays put and no sweat dripping down my face.

Random side note:
that pic of me up there was taken in the tiny gym at the hotel
we stayed at while at the beach in Oregon over Christmas.
The gym was nice enough, but the treadmill/TV setup was less than ideal:
It's hard to tell, but that TV was inches in front of the treadmill.
I like having a TV while running-
but I do NOT like having a TV that close to my face while running.

Back to the giveaway!

The awesome people over at Hoo-Rag have offered to give
a free Hoo-Rag to one of my blog readers!

The winner can choose any design that Hoo-Rag has in stock-
and they have some fun designs:

They have men's styles, too.  I should have included those, I guess.

I just ordered another one in the black/white paisley.

How to enter:
Go check out the Hoo-Rag designs and leave me a comment
telling me which design you would choose.

I don't have a ton of readers, so your chances will be good :).

Giveaway will run through next Monday, Jan 21 at 8pm MST.

Disclosure:  I was sent one Hoo-Rag sample free of charge to test out and review.  My opinions on this product are entirely my own.  I was not compensated for this post.

  1. I would have to actually work up a sweat to use this, we all know that never happens! :)

  2. Funny, I was actually looking for EXACTLY something like this, so it would be extra sweet to win. I like the "solidz" in baby blue or magenta!

  3. I like the paisley black one. I just started going to Jazzercise in the last couple months and sweat like a beast so I would love to try something like this. I saw Evonne's link to your giveaway on Facebook. :-)

  7. How fun Jerilee! I'd pick the GI Pink, cute running clothes is really the only thing that would motivate me to get out :) especially in this weather.

  12. This would be awesome to win because you should see what I wear outside right now. It's pretty scary. I look like a bank robber so this would be sweet to replace that mask with. I like the green one!

  14. I would pick the Cindy Loo Hoo, badabing!
Now that I've got that out of my system, I guess I'd really go with the Groovy Hoo.
Awesome jokes should get an extra entry:)

  15. Wow they have a LOT of patterns! I think I'd have to choose between the Cocoa Bloomz and the Groovy-Hoo (reminds me of Scooby-Doo, a big fave at our house - but then my daughter would steal it...)

  22. I'd pick the Solidz Blue. This would be a great replacement for what my boyfriend calls my bandit mask.

  23. I was just thinking that I should get something like this, and win or lose, I’ll most likely order one anyway. Saturday morning’s run was just a little too cold on the face.
While I think that the G.I. Gray would do the best at hiding the smog stains this winter (better on the rag than in my lungs, Right?), I really like the Paisley Black pattern.

  24. I think I would choose cocoa blooms, hard to decide, so many fun patterns!
