Hello spring and crazy hair…

Sunday night it snowed a bit.Not too bad, but it was a little icy.
It was not supposed to snow again, as far as I knew.Yet I walked out at 5:10am to find this:

Really nothing as far as snow is concerned.
I really hate running on ice, though-
and it was dang icy out there.
I have been having IT Band troubles (knee pain!)
so it was definitely not the fastest run we’ve ever done,
but some running got done and that’s what matters :).

7 miles – DONE

7 miles seems to be my go to distance.
I like 8 even more- because I am a crazy sort of person
and I prefer even numbers when at all possible ;).

On the kid front,
Yesterday was “Crazy Hair Day” at school for my 2nd grader. Mom Fail- I totally forgot. BUT I was at the school volunteering and pulled offa very fabulous ponytail/poof crazy mess on the top of her head.

This, however, is the next morning aftermath of “Crazy Hair Day”:
